Until I fix my schedule to work on this project, things changed so much in the period between 2021 to 2024. In this time frame I was working on 3D printing and bringing back an old animation from 20 years ago. Then I ran out of time and cash. From then on I had to go back to a 9 to 5, which took me 6 months to land a job. This in turn made it harder to focus on anything else until I was ready but it has been tough. I did made out some storyboards and messed with some genAi to learn some new techniques. Ultimately my schedule was way too busy to make anything work.
Now though, fast forward past 2024 to 2025 and I was able to fix my time to get a few more revolutions of Dark Zeta works done, on top of starting back up to write the origins of Tribus Fabula with The Legend of the Mystical Cat, The Island of Val, and the cross universe epic story event of Voyage to Eternity that brings together all my creations into one big narrative that will share a starting point to all branching stories. This will include both Markos (Mariolegend) and Gerard (G-Legend) alter ego characters that are the main actors in the Tribus Fabula series will show up in Voyage to Eternity series as well.
The first characters to show up in Voyage to Eternity currently is Nocchio and Dark Ball. Dark Ball is guest starring but has a transformative story arc that will represent the proto form of Alpha N (The soul of Dark Alpha and Light Alpha), the true spirit before the incarnation of Dark and Light Alphas in Dark Zeta universe. Dark Ball must go through a brutal transition before once again rising to a renewed universe that cursed him into Eternity. This story will help initialize many other new characters as well that will show up throughout Tribus Fabula and other universes.
To go back about Dark Ball, it is a very old character I’ve since been developing from childhood. In college is when I decided he needed a makeover, so I focused on reworking his profile and storyline from what was done before. I then decided to make an arcade action game that resembled an old 8-bit Nintendo game with GameMaker when it was version 3. This was mainly the reason I wanted to make believe that Dark was made in the 80s but realized no one wanted something like this than I. I wanted to achieve something of an establishing feel of origin so I can justify the existence of a modern take of my ideas with Dark Ball and Dark Zeta that felt nostalgic and authentic. Now instead I’m going to be redoing the link between practically the same character because both exist in different shared universes that connects with each other in the timeline. Dark Ball is the prototype and Dark Alpha is the form that proceeds from the ashes of the previous incarnation. The bridge between worlds is the story of Voyage to Eternity, where the before all things sparks, the spirits transforms into many beings.

Now with those developments, my hiatus is almost over to begin real work on getting a graphic novel and the animation series going. The storyboard for Voyage to Eternity has been done for 3 episodes, but I’m trying to fix my schedule after work to be able to get production rolling and refine the work further into an animation. That takes so much time and effort, and sincerely almost feels impossible because at the end of the work day I’m mentally exhausted. This is why I went to research Ai tools to cut and save time but definitely that isn’t the case. Using Ai tools actually takes more time to get going. Earlier in 2023 up to 2025 Ai tools felt like slot machines for the image generation. For writing, It definitely got better and it helps me correct grammar after I compose my blog posts, so it acts like a editor chief when I’m done with my rough draft. So Ai can help but still doesn’t do much if I don’t have time to attend to it. Time essentially is what I’m lacking for hobby stuff since it isn’t paying the bills. To keep this and my other sites up and running, I’m grinding a 9 to 5 job and weekends just to keep things afloat. This is why I’m still in “Hiatus” and even writing to make this post has taken me days to complete just to let you know.

Now my plans to fully come back won’t be anytime soon. Something drastic must happen before I can really put attention back to my creative works. I plan to retreat though once a month so I can pull together some smaller works and see how it goes but eventually, if I can get a remote job of some kind, I will be able to get more freetime for my artworks.
Sincerely though I wish I could have something more of just art focused lifestyle to create at will, but that is just wishful thinking since stress takes over and I’m always pushed to prioritize other things. The next thing I need to focus on is the real time theater 3D player for all my websites that are media based. I also want to do a countdown to premiere of the events that will significantly change conditions in them. This definitely will create some excitement and makes things more interesting.
Alright that’s all, thank you for reading and I hope I can bring you some more updates soon.
